What’s In a Name 2018
The eleventh annual What’s In A Name challenge is once again hosted by The Worm Hole. I began the fun in 2009 so I played again, although in keeping with my One Little Word for this year, LIGHTEN, I pared down my reading challenges. This fun challenge made the cut & helped me cut down my TBR stacks.
The rules are simple-Read one book from each category during the year.
My books:
- The word ‘the’ used twice: The Ship of the Dead (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard #3), Rick Riordan
- A fruit or vegetable: The Beet Queen by Louise Erdrich
- A shape: Bedford Square (Charlotte & Thomas Pitt #19), Anne Perry
- A title that begins with Z – can be after ‘The’ or ‘A’: The Zookeeper’s Wife, Diane Ackerman
- A nationality: My Italian Bulldozer, Alexander McCall Smith
- 6. A season: The Summer Before the War, Helen Simonson
