What’s In A Name? 2016
The ninth annual What’s In A Name challenge is once again hosted by The Worm Hole. I began the fun in 2009 so I couldn’t pass up the chance to play again. I read all the books early except an item of furniture, which I had a hard time finding on my TBR shelves. I was searching for another book when I found “The Piano Teacher” on the row behind some others, pulled it out and finished up this challenge in the first half of the year. Links to my reviews are found on the challenge website under each category.
The rules are simple-Read one book from each of the following categories:
A country: A Passage to India, E.M. Forster
An item of clothing: The Kashmir Shawl, Rosie Thomas
An item of furniture: The Piano Teacher, Janice Y.K. Lee
A profession: The Beekeeper’s Apprentice (Mary Russell #1), Laurie R. King
A month of the year: The Fifth of March: A Story of the Boston Massacre, Ann Rinaldi
A title with the word ‘tree’ in it: The Darling Dahlias and the Cucumber Tree (The Darling Dahlias #1), Susan Wittig Albert
