Festival of Trees 2006 is underway. Monday was decorating day and Tuesday was bid night. Our tree was purchased on bid night by American Express (thanks!). Our theme this year was an old fashioned Christmas, and honoring our brother Paul (who died in the line of duty in 1995) and brother Brent (for his service in Iraq). If you are in the Utah area, be sure to go to the Festival of Trees this week (until December 2) at the SouthTowne Expo Center. Our tree is in row C.

Festival of Trees 2004
Our tree for the Festival of Trees 2004 had a popcorn theme in memory of Paul's love of popcorn. We made the TV news with our tree.
This link (http://kutv.dayport.com/launcher/3929/?tf=video_player.tpl) has a news report and at the end is a brief reference to and TV shots of our tree.

Our Popcorn snowman. It took 50 lbs of unpopped popcorn and a whole lot marshmallow/butter "glue" (like is used to make Rice Krispy treats), to make this snowman.
Festival of Tree 2003
Our tree for Festival of Trees 2003 was actually a woodland scene with a bunch of trees and a waterfall!
