We went down to Las Vegas to see Star Trek: the Experience and did some other fun stuff while we were there like, M&M’s World, the Secret Garden at the Mirage Hotel, and Brian braved the roller coaster at New York, New York. We also had dinner one night at the Rainforest Cafe at the MGM Grand and saw the lions there. Scott had to spend some of the time at the hotel working, so me and the boys wandered on our own some of the time. (click on a photo to see them all larger)
On the way home from Vegas, we stopped off in St. George to see “The King and I” at Tuacahn and had a great time. I love that venue! While we were in Southern Utah we visited the Brigham Young winter home, did some swimming at the hotel, went to Zion National Park, and visited the ghost town of Grafton where Scott’s ancestors settled.

This was Sue's second time in Music Man and she was supposed to play a townperson. However, at the last minute (kind of like happened in Arizona in 1989) she was asked to step into a lead role at the last minute when someone else had to bow out suddenly. This time she played Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn, the mayor's wife. She had a lot of fun doing it.
Brian was also in this play and was part of starting a love of drama in him. He played a townperson.
Brian is kind in the back center in the band uniform
