Royal Challenge 2016 wrap-up
Royal Challenge 2016
She’s Got Books on her Mind hosted this challenge to read books with a royal theme: books that center around anyone with a royal title, knights, castles, kingdoms, or heroic quests. I signed up for Earl or Countess: 7-9 books and surpassed the King or Queen level with 25 books. I’m either an overachiever or I read a lot of books with royals and quests.

Newbery Reading Challenge 2016
This is the third year of this challenge and I have participated since the beginning. It helps me stay focused on my perpetual challenge of reading all the winners. Julie of Smiling Shelves is once again the host and I chose the L’Engle level: 15-29 points which I just made with 16 points.

Here’s my list of books read and off my shelves. I reviewed them all on goodreads. [Read more…] about 2016 Mount TBR Reading Challenge wrap-up

I joined this YA challenge hosted by Whole Latte Books. The rules were simple: read YA books which I love. 12 of the 39 books I read were re-reads, mostly via audio; 3 were for a book club. My favorites of the new reads were Night Study, The Raven King, The Wrath & the Dawn, The Rose & the Dagger, Salt to the Sea, Six of Crows, and Crooked Kingdom.
So here’s my long list for the year. [Read more…] about 2016 YA Reading Challenge wrap-up
